Battle of the Interns: Submission Requirements

Successful candidates must complete the following to be considered for this internship: 

  • Register online and attend the information session on Friday April 7, 3:30 - 5pm
  • Work as an individual or group (max 3 people) to develop and show us how to best Debunk one original story
  • As part of your submission, share our “Battle of the Interns Is Now On” post, tag and tell your friends to follow/like Debunkinc. on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Youtube, then vote for you at *Bonus points will be awarded for social media activity sharing and votes
  • Submit your application by Sunday April 9 at 11:59pm.
  • Develop a new folder in Dropbox with your individual/group name
  • What needs to be included: 
    • Resume (if a group submission, include resume for each team member)
    • Final Debunked article
    • List of sources used to develop story
    • Media files - images, videos, gifs, graphics (if applicable)
    • Social media activity – include any relevant screengrabs of your social media activity to highlight activity of your post sharing and likes
    • Completed submission form

 Candidates will be scored based on the following criteria:

  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of how to Debunk stories
  • Creativity 
  • Quality of submission (such as grammar, video production level) 
  • Social media activity/votes (# of Likes, Shares, Follows, Votes generated)
